Anhelina Holembivska

In my work I strive to reflect the beauty of the world around me. I find inspiration both in nature and in the works of great masters of the past. The themes of my work are not narrative. In painting I am inspired by themes of light and color. The main genre I have chosen is still life, through which I try to convey human emotions. While I mostly lean towards a realistic approach, I'm often inspired by Japanese graphics. I refer to it in my works and try to combine an oriental approach to composition with a western technique.
