Brother Vincent Abate Biography:

Br. Vincent’s vocation is that of solitary hermit. Per canon 603 in the Code of Canon Law, which states: "In addition to institutes of consecrated life, the Church recognizes the eremitic or anchoritic life by which the Christian faithful devote their life to the praise of God and the salvation of the world through a stricter withdrawal from the world, the silence of solitude, assiduous prayer and penance." Thus, my life is modeled after the hidden life of Christ in Nazareth and His life of solitude in the desert. His plan is to live this life more faithfully and to try to help others enter as much as possible into the interior life as indicated in the same writings of Luisa.
