Non-profit seeks to empower artists and form partnerships to find a home for the Foundation in Florence
Florence, Italy – September 18, 2024 – The Pneuma Art Foundation, a visionary art non-profit dedicated to supporting emerging artists, is proud to announce its upcoming exhibition, "In the Light of Florence," taking place from September 27 through September 29 at Via dei Serragli 51, Firenze.
The exhibition will feature a dynamic collection of works from twenty-five talented sculptors, painters, and ceramicists. This event not only offers art enthusiasts the opportunity to discover and take home original artworks but also serves as an opportunity to introduce Pneuma to the Florentine community, and unveil the plans to create a home for the Foundation in Florence that includes art studios and community spaces.
"Pneuma supports artists who want to create with the techniques and inspirations of the Classical, Renaissance, and Baroque Masters. ‘In the Light of Florence’ is providing the opportunity for twenty-five artists of all career stages who live and work in Florence to introduce their work to the city that nurtured the Masters that they take inspiration from. Our goal is to provide artists with the resources and space they need to thrive so they can focus on creating the beauty we all need," said Dr. Brett Colbert and Dr. Olivia Colbert, Co-founders and Directors of Pneuma. "This exhibition will support artists, introduce Pneuma to the Florentine community, and create partnerships to find a home for Pneuma and artists in Florence."

Seeking Partnerships and Support
Pneuma is actively seeking a partnership with property owners or organizations willing to provide a space suitable for conversion into artist studios. Additionally, the organization is calling on donors who share a passion for the arts to support this transformative project.
"Investing in the arts is investing in our community," remarked Brett Colbert, Director at Pneuma. "There will be a place for all of us to come together, learn, and collaborate."
